McCook Senior High welcomes all parents to attend our Open House on August 18th, from 6:00-7:00 pm. Following the open house, Jay Martin, NDE's Director of School Safety and Security will have a parent presentation regarding Digital Safety involving our teens. Please share, all parents and guardians of the district are welcome to attend!!

Ballots for the August 12, 2025 special mail in election will be delivered to voters' homes on or around July 23. Please mark your ballot according to how you want your vote counted.
To ensure your vote is counted:
*mail your completed ballot no later than August 6 to allow adequate time for delivery.
*all ballots must be received at the County Courthouse by 5pm on August 12 - postmarks do not count.
*you may also hand-deliver your ballot to the drop box located outside the east door of the County Courthouse, which is available Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm, or at any time before the deadline.

A new application is required each school year, and we encourage all families to fill one out, regardless of past eligibility.

Yippee!!! Congratulations to MHS Students Reese Gillespie and Parker Nokes who have qualified for the National High School Rodeo Finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming later this summer. Reese finished Top 10 in Cutting and 3rd in Reining Cow Horse. Parker won the Short Go, made Top 30 in Tie Down and will participate on the reserve team in Team Roping. We are proud of both of you! Best of luck to you and the Nebraska Rodeo Team at Nationals!
