Our Summer Food Program is back for Summer 2026! A simple sign-up is required and can be completed by using the QR code OR this link: https://forms.gle/7am7BxcCkxCyx74e8. Everyone in our community 1-18 is eligible for this program. A drive thru style pick up will be on Mondays and Thursdays starting June 1, 2026 from 11:00am - 12:15pm at McCook Elementary School. Canvas Data Breach Update
MPS is relieved to report that the data accessed by an unauthorized individual in Canvas has been successfully recovered and secured. Canvas has confirmed that any copies of the compromised data have been deleted and that assurances are in place to ensure the data will not be further shared on the dark web or other platforms.
As a district, we remain committed to maintaining standard security practices and continue to encourage staff and students to stay vigilant regarding phishing attempts and other suspicious online activities.

LB1022 was passed by the Nebraska State Legislature and that means the human relations training is no longer a requirement for a substitute teaching permit! Current requirements for a local substitute teaching permit are: application/fee, fingerprints (if applicable), and at least 48 semester credit hours.
