Summer school Sheets are coming home TODAY! We are asking those to be returned in ASAP (preferably tomorrow) but will continue to take them until we fill up. 8:00-12:00 w/ Breakfast/Lunch Mon-Thurs June 2-26. We will provide a bus to take kids to football camp! STEM/HANDS ON activities for our 4th/5th graders--It's like a camp!
5th Grade Parents: Field Trip to Red Willow Lake is Friday, 5/2! Please have a sack lunch (or order one through school), sunscreen, water, bug spray?, and a light jacket. Students will leave here at 8:15 and return around 2:15 PM.
4th Grade Parents: WAX Museum is FRIDAY, 5/2! Please have a plan off attack for any materials (no guns/knives/animals)! Kids are working hard but it's always a push to get everyone ready. Please have them practice with you! Doors will open at 2:00 for guests on Friday! This is always a highlight!

As you are aware, Central Elementary did a lockdown drill and an Evacuation Drill this morning. Kids were EXCELLENT and we are back in the school building for a normal day. We do these drills to make sure kids are safe and we can go through our re-unification process in case of an emergency. Great job Staff & Students!

Thursday Evening 4/10: 6PM 4th Grade Concert, 7:30 PM 5th Grade Concert. The concert will be at McCook E-Free Church (South of Hospital).
4th Grade N-SCAS testing begins Tuesday and Wednesday! Good nights of rest and breakfast help kids do their best! We're excited to see the kids' progress !

Parents: FYI: Our gym floor is going to be resurfaced from 2/27-3/8. On Friday, we are taking kids bowling for about an hour sporadically throughout the day. Kids need to wear clean SOCKS or bring clean SOCKS! Bowling shoes are gross....let's not make them worse. :)
Tomorrow, (Tuesday, Feb 25) will be Spring picture day with our new local company, H2O Photography, here at Central. They've made it super simple to order at h2ophoto.net/ and prices go up on Wednesday...just a heads up!
