OPAA! our schools food service provider would like to extend an invitation for parents to come and eat a Thanksgiving lunch with their high school students on Wednesday, November 19th from 1:00-1:30 at the cafeteria located in McCook Junior High. They will be serving roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, hot buttered dinner rolls, fresh fruit and vegetable bar, and pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting. The cost will be $4.45 for each adult. Please contact the high school office to sign up by 3:30 on November 18th.
McCook High School hosted local Veterans for a meal today. At the meal students presented John Hubert with a Quilt of Valor that they created during Bison Days last year. Thank You Veterans for all that you have done and continue to do for our country.

Bison softball games in Wray today are Varsity at 3:30 p.m. Mountain Time with Junior Varsity to follow.
The Sophomore Class will go through a career exploratory program on Wednesday called Connect The Dots. It will take all day to complete. Students will have lunch provided for them in the gym, and will not be allowed to leave for lunch. We want to say thank you to the extension office for providing this opportunity for our students.

Best Wishes to Parker Nokes and Reese Gillespie at the National High School Finals Rodeo this week in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Events can be streamed on the Cowboy Channel Plus app. Parker is up Monday night and Friday morning, Reese competes Tuesday morning and Wednesday night. McCook and Nebraska are rooting for you both!

Our very own Reese Gillespie and Parker Nokes will be competing in the Nebraska HS State Rodeo Finals in Valentine, Nebraska, June 12-14. Reese qualified in the cutting and reining cow horse events, Parker qualified in the down roping and team roping events. News Channel Nebraska will be televising the event finals. Tomorrow afternoon from 1:30-2:30 McCook High School will be doing community service projects around town. Please remind your students to wear pants, closed toe shoes, and bring a pair of work gloves if they have them.
We are doing our ACT and Pre-ACT testing this week at McCook High School. Juniors and Seniors need to report to school by 8:00 am on Tuesday, March 25th. Freshmen and Sophomores do not have school on Tuesday, March 25th.
