4th Grade Parents: Friendly reminder that we are to be at the school by 6:30.AM for our field trip to Hastings Museum tomorrow! Please pack a lunch for your child. We should be getting back around 4:30! Please keep the front of the school open so the buses can park. Tomorrow should be a fun day!
Students will be bringing home an “OPT OUT” slip for an inflatable obstacle course that will be here Thursday morning. Each class will have approximately 15 minutes, which allows students to go through the course about 2–3 times. This activity is being provided by the Elementary PTO as a fun end-of-the-year event!
If your child is not participating in PE/Recess, they will not participate in the obstacle course. If you do NOT want your child to participate, please return the slip by tomorrow or no later than Thursday at 8:00 AM.

Central Track Meet is tomorrow! We ask kids to be dropped off at the High School track from 8:15-8:30 AM. This should last until around NOON. The schedule is attached! The weather looks very promising but may be chilly early. Please ask your child what events they will be doing for events! We will be having a 'track practice' today so it runs fairly smooth tomorrow! Students will get their shirts today, please have them wear them for the track meet.
Summer school is not your typical summer school! It's more of a camp feel to it...we've worked hard to make it fun for kids and make this is a great program for our community! If interested, please sign up your child! We just need kids signed up to help plan for staffing! If your child is doing football camp the first week, we will bus them over so they can participate in both! Any other hang-ups we can help eliminate, please reach out! May is quickly approaching.
June 1-25 (M-TH) 8:00-11:30 w/ grab and go Lunch! Breakfast is also served! (FREE).
We've sent registration home but you can pick up an extra one at ME or CE offices!
Reminder! 5th Grade N-SCAS testing starts tomorrow and continues on throughout the week! A great night's sleep, some breakfast, an encouraging word can make a huge difference ! We want to see how much progress our kids have made. Let's finish strong!
On Friday, we will be practicing a Lockdown DRILL in the morning at school.

🚨IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT🚨- Tonight's basketball games against Hastings have been canceled due to the high wind. The MHS Mini Dance Camp Performance will be taking place at the MCC Girls Basketball Game at 5:30 p.m. at the Peter and Dolores Graff Event Center.
Mini dancers need to arrive at the event center at 5:30 p.m.
