This year is my first in the full-time School Resource Officer position. I am a certified DARE instructor and instructed the 5th grade DARE program at Central Elementary School last year. I have been a Police Officer with the City of McCook for about 3 years now, serving in patrol and as a firearms instructor. Prior to that, I spent almost 9 years on active duty in the US Navy, serving in military law enforcement, anti-terrorism and executive protection. . I am here in the school just as my title suggests, as a resource, to students, parents, and staff. My goal is to build successful relationships and offer guidance to help solve problems. My door is always open to students, parents and staff. I may not always have the answers, but I am willing to do what it takes to find solutions.
My wife Lyndsi and I have been married for 9 years and we have two children at McCook Elementary School. I am originally from West Bridgewater, MA. Lyndsi grew up in Oberlin(Cedar Bluffs), KS. I am a huge fan of all the Boston sports teams, the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots. If you see me in the halls or walk by my office, don't be afraid to stop and say hi.
