I am proud to be a Hastings College Bronco. After my 38th year of teaching I am retiring. The first two years were in Giltner (NE) and the last 36 have been in McCook with time spent in Central Elementary, McCook Senior High, and North Ward Elementary. Assignments have mostly been in English/Language Arts, the focus of my 1973 BA from Hastings College, or library. I earned an MLS (Masters of Library Science) from Emporia State (KS) in 1984. I was surprised to be assigned the foods classes for 2011-12! I am a Bison fan but prefer close, exciting games. I have been the student council sponsor since fall 1996. McCook alumni from the late ‘70s may remember me as pep club/cheerleader sponsor.
