About Me

I am currently in my 27th year of teaching and my 10th year at McCook High School. I am a graduate of Kearney State College in 1984. This year my teaching duties include the following:

Introduction to Business,

Computer Applications I,

Web Design I, II and III.

Head 8th grade boys basketball

Family

My wife, Colleen and I have been married 29 years and we have two Children, Lauren who is 27 and Eric 23. My wife teaches 5th grade at Southwest Public Pchools. She is in her 10th year of teaching at that school district.

Lauren is married to Micah King and they live in Ravenna. She is in her second year at Shelton Public Schools where she teaches 4th grade. She coaches Junior high girls basketball and track and field. She previously taught at Cambridge. Eric is working on his teaching degree with a major in middle shool elementary with an emphasis in Business and Special Education through Chadron State College. He is in his third year of coaching at McCook High school and coaches at the 9th grade level.

I am an avid waterfowl hunter, From mid October through January you will find me in the duck blind or goose pit with my son Eric and our Labrador Retrievers Thor and our new puppy Draker. My favorite words to hear in the fall and winter are "take em." I also enjoy hunting pheasants, quail and deer. In the spring and summer you will find me on my boat fishing in many of the lakes in Southwest Nebraska. I have a love/hate relationship with the Chicago Cubs and enjoy reading and working on computers. I am a Buck Gardner Field Representative.
